  • Gandhi memorial: Almost everyone know who is Mahatma Gandhi and his contribution in freedom struggle. This is the exact spot where he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse on Jan 30, 1948. This is the house where he was living till his last day and even his room is kept as the same when he left it. You will find many pictures, sculptures etc. Here.
  • Parliament house: Parliament house is a building with central hall, 3 semi domed chambers and a domed structure. It is surrounded with beautiful gardens and fountains. Chamber of princes and council of state and legislative assembly.
    India gate: This memorial is a symbol of bravery and dedication showed by Indian soldiers when they fought in World war 1 for Britishers. Names of those soldiers are written on this monument and surrounded with beautiful gardens.
  • Humayun’s tomb: The first ever Mughal built monument is India is this tomb where second wife of Humayun is cremated. It is beautifully built just like Taj Mahal in Agra and surrounded with gardens.
  • Qutab Minar: Qutab Minar is one of the tallest minaret and a beautiful monument that shows Indo-Islamic culture. It is a 5 storied and had different carvings and verse of Quran written on it.

Jaipur Travel Destinations

  • Amber Fort: Amber Fort or Amer Fort was constructed in 1592 by Raja Mansingh. It beautifully portrays the blend of Hindu-Muslim culture by the use of red sandstone and white marble. You can go for elephant ride and in the evening you can see the light and music show.
  • Jal Mahal: This Mahal is located in the middle of Mansagar Lake. It was built as a hunting lodge in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Many migratory birds like white browed wagtail, grey heron etc. Visit this palace.
  • Hawa Mahal: Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds is a piece of art constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. For providing ventilation it has 953 windows. Royal families used it for looking after their people.
  • Jantar Mantar Observatory: If you want to see world’s largest sundial then you can see it right here. This observatory is different than other and was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II. For measuring time, observing constellations and stars there were geometric instruments.
  • City Palace: This beautiful palace was built during 1729 to 1732 AD by Sawai Raja Jai Singh II. It is made of Chandra and Mubarak Mahal. It has a stunning structure and you can view the amazing pink city from there.
  • Birla temple: This temple is designed beautifully by using white marble and many carvings. It has the idol of Laxmi Narayan. On the inner walls you can see things associated with Hinduism and on the outer walls there are carvings of many philosophers like Buddha, Socrates, Christ etc.

Agra Travel Destinations

  • Fatehpur Sikri forts: For honouring Sheikh Salim, Akbar built this fort which shows the blend of amazing architecture and religious beliefs. It is an excellent indo-islamic structure where you can click stunning photos.
  • Agra market (kinari bazar): One of the most colorful and beautiful market is this bazar. You can find inexpensive fabric, jewellery and other things here. It will take you back to the ancient times when this market was established.
  • Taj Mahal: One of the famous monuments and symbol of love is Taj Mahal which was built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz. It has a mirror place, diwan-e-aam and diwan-e- khaas.
  • Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah: This tomb is also known as baby taj because its carvings and stone work techniques are similar to taj. Instead of red sandstone it was made with white marbles and marks the end of usage of red sandstone. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
Varanasi Travel Destinations
  • Sarnath: Sarnath is famous because after attaining enlightenment, Buddha made his first sermon here. Follower of Buddha, emperor Ashoka built a stupa there. This place has the tallest statue of Buddha.
  • Kashi Vishwanath temple: This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the most popular Hindu temples. Om usual days there are 3000 devotees worshipping there but it may increase to 1,00,000 on other special occasions.
  • Dashashwamedh Ghat: This place is said to be the one where Lord Brahma performed the Dasa Ashwamedh sacrifice. Many religious rites are performed here. It is very famous for the Ganga aarti in the evening.
